Gwyneth in Brazil

Hello everyone!

I am so sorry for not having updates! These past two and a half months have been absolutely insane! God has been moving in this nation and in my own life. I just wanted to thank all of you again for your support in getting me into the nations. This has been a life-changing experience and I am grateful that you have helped me get here.

My team and I have been in Paraguay for over two months and have witnessed some incredible moves of God. We started our outreach in the capital of Paraguay, Asunción. We stayed at the YWAM base there and partnered with their ministry and our own. Some of our ministry included street evangelism, door-to-door evangelism, hosting worship nights, hospital ministry, and even evangelizing in bars and nightclubs! During this time, I experienced so much growth as a Christian and with my relationship with God. We celebrated Christmas and the new year in the capital city. I wouldn’t have changed it for anything. Being away from home has been extremely hard, especially through the holidays, but the lessons the Lord taught me through that are something that I will carry throughout my whole life.

After our month in Asunción, we moved eight hours east into a town called Fram. This town is about 10 blocks by 20 blocks. No one from any other part of the country had heard of it. It was quite an adjustment moving from the big city to such a small town in the middle of nowhere. We had the most incredible hosts in this town who housed us, fed us, and became very close friends. When we arrived, they had our spaces all set up and a large meal prepared for us! They were so welcoming, and even though we didn’t speak the same language, they were so kind and I loved getting to know them. While in Fram, our hosts had so much planned for us and their goal was for us to evangelize to their entire town. We prayed over people in the hospital, hosting nightly prayer services, and did a lot of door-to-door evangelism. Also, while in this town, I had my first opportunity to preach on a Sunday morning! I learned so much during my time in Fram, including how to butcher a chicken. My team and I also got so close while there because we cooked every meal together and our family meals were the best.

Our next destination after spending two weeks in Fram, is a city about an hour north in Encarnacion. this has been my favorite destination so far and we have been here for about two weeks. We are on our third week and we have been staying with a local church and partnering with all of their local ministries. We have been going to the hospital, making breakfast for a local community, visiting orphanages, and assisting in their weekly youth services. My favorite ministry has been with the youth, because in Kona the Lord marked me with a heart for youth, and for my generation, to see them living whole-heartedly for Jesus. In the coming weeks, we will do some of the same things and may even go to the local jail and evangelize.

We are unsure where we are going next, but I am so excited to see the way God is going to move no matter where we go.

Also, my team visited Argentina, and Brazil since being here and all I can say is, Wow! I am so in love with South America and so grateful to be here.

I will post some videos about some testimonies my team and I have seen throughout our outreach!!
